Books¶

The recommended books are the 'Mastering Unreal' books - Volume 1 is currently available, while Volumes 2 (advanced level design) and 3 (scripting) are due for release in November 2009. 'Mastering Unreal Technology Volume 1' includes a code for use with Steam to download a full copy of Unreal Tournament III.

The book is on Amazon and Book Depository and will be available from the University book shop.

Video tutorials at ut3modding.com - these go from very basic introductory tutorials to very advanced topics of using the UnrealEd toolset.
3DBuzz Many of the video tutorials at ut3modding were developed at 3D Buzz. This site is run by some of the authors of the Mastering Unreal books, and includes video tutorials for a huge range of gaming and 3D technologies. Registration required to access some features, and a paid subscription required to access the full set of videos.
