Any student that wants to use Python/Pygame for their coursework must prove that they are capable of doing so. To do this, your homework for next week (5th October) is to have a small game/demo prepared. There is no specific requirement for what type of game, I am leaving that up to you.
Post a new message in this forum what you intend to have achieved for next week as your proof, and I will comment on whether this is enough, too much, or acceptable.

Hi there,
For next Monday i'm hoping to create a game/demo which asks the player various questions to begin eg name, fav computer game, player level - These answers will be output the screen along with a bitmap image which the player moves to get to a gate that takes them to the next area, avoiding enemys that move vertically, bouncing off of the top/bottom of the screen : If hit the game restarts. Similar but different to gauntlet.

Sounds good. A bit more than is necessary for next week, but impressive if you manage to achieve that along with work for other modules.
